A series of animated posters exploring how heritage sites in Cork could be given a stronger visual identity and brought to life through design and motion.
This project came from a college brief exploring how design and motion could give cultural heritage sites a more compelling presence. I focused on a series of Cork heritage sites, developing a visual identity for each one and then animating it into a poster format.
The aim was to make these places feel more engaging and to encourage people to connect with their cultural significance.
Each poster started as a static design in Illustrator, with photographic and illustrative elements composed in Photoshop. I then brought the pieces to life in After Effects, using motion to add depth and atmosphere to each heritage site's identity.
