A first-person 3D escape game set in a storage facility, built in Unreal Engine as part of my Immersive Environments module. The player must explore the space, find a hidden map, locate a key, and use a key card to escape.
LockedAway is a first-person escape game built in Unreal Engine. The player enters a storage facility only to find the gate locked behind them and must explore the environment to find their way out, working through a hidden map, a key, and a key card sequence.
The project covered the full design process from concept and game logic through environment layout, object prioritisation, interaction points, triggers, and cinematic sequences.
All assets and game mechanics were planned and documented from scratch. I built the environment in Blender and Unreal Engine, set up all trigger systems and interaction logic, and created cinematic sequences using Unreal Engine's built-in tools. Photoshop and Illustrator supported concepting and asset work.
